How many days until 8 December?
The big number at the top of the page is the answer: the whole days left until 8 December, today excluded. It's a fixed date, so only the weekday changes — it's written under the count together with the full date. The line with hours, minutes and seconds updates on its own.
Is it a long weekend?
It depends on the weekday: when 8 December falls on a Tuesday or Thursday, one day off makes a four-day break; on a Monday or Friday the weekend is long by itself; on a Saturday or Sunday the holiday is lost (Italy doesn't move it). In 2026, 8 December is a Tuesday.
